Llanasa Womens Institute

The WI is an organisation that was founded in 1897 in Canada . In 1915 the W.I. was founded in Wales on the Island of Anglesey.  2009 sees the 60th birthday of Llanasa W.I.  We are a friendly lot, so we are told!

We meet on the 2nd tuesday of every month at the Village Hall at 7pm.  We enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit, catching up last months news, we have outings as and when members are interested, and most months we have a speaker on a variety of subjects. In 2008 some of the talks were about silver, heraldry, buffaloes, flower arranging and more.

Will you come and spend an evening with us? From young to old would be most welcome and after you have gone home happy and relaxed, you may wish to come to join us in the future. We look forward to meeting you.
